摘要:This article presents a decentralized control framework for distribution matching in multiagent systems, where agents collectively achieve a prescribed terminal spatial distribution. The problem is formulated using optimal transport (Wasserstein distance), which provides a principled measure of distributional discrepancy and serves as the basis for the control design. To avoid solving the global optimal transport problem directly, the distribution-matching objective is reformulated into a trac...

摘要:Explicit solutions to optimal control problems are rarely obtainable. Of particular interest are the explicit solutions derived for minimax problems, providing a framework to address adversarial conditions and uncertainty. This work considers a multidisturbance minimax linear regulator (LR) framework for positive linear time-invariant systems in continuous time, which, analogous to the linear-quadratic regulator problem, can be utilized for the stabilization of positive systems. The problem is...

摘要:This article investigates the differentially private output consensus problem of continuous-time heterogeneous multiagent systems. An algorithm blending estimation, control and privacy is proposed. To prevent privacy leakage, each agent constructs an auxiliary variable regarding to its own initial output, and then adds a nondecaying noise to this variable. To incorporate the network bandwidth limitation, each agent quantifies the noisy auxiliary variable to 1-bit binary-valued data, and transm...

摘要:The Kleinman iteration is a policy iteration method for solving Riccati equations and forms the basis of many reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms. However, its direct application to inverse RL problems is limited by its reliance on known cost functions. To overcome this limitation, we propose a modified Kleinman iteration algorithm that simultaneously estimates the cost weight and the value function matrix during policy evaluation without an additional update step for the cost weight, there...

摘要:This article presents a fault diagnosis approach for labeled Petri nets under a decentralized architecture consisting of multiple local sites and a coordinator. The key contribution is a communication protocol that defines the data exchange between each local site and the coordinator. A local site performs fault diagnosis by solving an integer linear programming (ILP) problem, which is formulated based on its local observation and the data received from the coordinator. Since the ILP problem i...

摘要:The leader-following consensus problem for general linear multiagent systems over jointly connected switching networks has been a challenging problem and the solvability of the problem has been limited to the class of linear multiagent systems whose system matrix is marginally stable. This condition is restrictive since it even excludes the most commonly used double-integrator system. This article presents an advancement by showing that leader-following exponential consensus is achievable for ...

摘要:A Lyapunov-based least-squares model-reference adaptive controller was recently developed for plants with relative degree one. The algorithm exhibits a remarkable tracking error transient performance while also ensuring fast parameter convergence. In this article, we generalize this algorithm to the more complex and challenging case of plants with higher relative degree. The key elements for the design procedure are the strictly positive real (SPR) principle and the backstepping technique. The...

摘要:This article presents an output feedback control strategy for the setpoint regulation control of heat equations. Inspired by classical finite-dimensional methods, the adopted approach leverages an integral component of the tracking error. The reported approach relies on spectral reduction methods, directly applied to the heat equation once augmented with the integral component. It is shown that the adopted boundary control design strategy can always be successfully implemented for the setpoint...

摘要:This article is committed to the stability analysis of discrete-time impulsive stochastic systems involving hybrid nondeterministic delays. We develop several novel criteria of weakly globally stochastically exponential stability for the suggested systems by means of delayed inequality approach under impulsive disturbance and Razumikhin method under impulsive control, respectively. It should be highlighted that different from the majority works that focused on constant delays or time-dependent...

摘要:Model reduction plays a critical role in system control, with established methods, such as balanced truncation, widely used for linear systems. However, extending these methods to nonlinear settings, particularly polynomial dynamical systems that are often used to model higher order interactions in physics, biology, and ecology, remains a significant challenge. In this article, we develop a novel model reduction method for homogeneous polynomial dynamical systems (HPDSs) with linear input and ...
