摘要:This article addresses a distributed state estimation problem for a continuous-time linear time-invariant system over the sensor and communication networks utilizing the discrete local output measurements and the intermittent communication. A distributed continuous-discrete state observer is developed to continuously generate the estimates. At each sampling moment, the estimate is updated based on the state update rule by using the periodic samples of the local output measurement and the neigh...

摘要:In this article, we address a class of differential games where one player utilizes piecewise continuous control strategy, while the other player employs event-triggered impulses. This article considers scenarios where impulses act as control inputs or as disturbances, and the theoretical framework we propose is applicable to both zero-sum and nonzero-sum differential games. By employing discontinuous steady-state Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs (HJI) equations and constructing Lyapunov functions, we e...

摘要:Existing asynchronous distributed optimization algorithms often use diminishing step-sizes that cause slow practical convergence, or use fixed step-sizes that depend on and decrease with an upper bound of the delays. Not only are such delay bounds hard to obtain in advance, but they also tend to be large and rarely attained, resulting in unnecessarily slow convergence. This article develops asynchronous versions of two distributed algorithms, Prox-DGD and DGD-ATC, for solving consensus optimiz...

摘要:This article proposes to develop a new variant of the two-time-scale stochastic approximation to find the roots of two coupled nonlinear operators, assuming that only noisy samples of these operators can be observed. Our key idea is to leverage the classic Polyak-Ruppert averaging technique to dynamically estimate the operators through their samples. The estimated values of these averaging steps will then be used in the two-time-scale stochastic approximation updates to find the desired soluti...

摘要:This article considers the time-varying zero-sum game between two multiagent networks with different topologies. The two networks are modeled as adversarial players, where agents within each network communicate with their local neighbors while simultaneously gathering information from the opposing network through a bipartite interaction framework. The payoffs of the agents can be quantified by time-varying cost functions, and the objective is to design an online distributed algorithm to optimi...

摘要:We prove fixed-time stabilization estimates using sampled controls, for continuous-time time-varying linear systems that can contain uncertain coefficient matrices. In the special case where the coefficient matrices are known, this yields a fixed-time input-to-state stability property, in which the norm of the current state is bounded from above by a supremum of the uncertainty that is calculated over a finite length time interval of a constant length. We also prove analogs for output feedback...
