摘要:The well known isomorphism relating the rational algebraic K-theory groups and the rational motivic cohomology groups of a smooth variety over a field of characteristic 0 is shown to be realized by a map (the Segre map) of infinite loop spaces. Moreover, the associated Chem character map on rational homotopy groups is shown to be a ring isomorphism. 摘要:Among the major mathematical approaches to mirror symmetry are those of Batyrev-Borisov and Strominger-Yau-Zaslow (SYZ). The first is explicit and amenable to computation but is not clearly related to the physical motivation; the second is the opposite. 摘要:To any graded Frobenius algebra A we associate a sequence of graded Frobenius algebras A([n]) so that there is canonical isomorphism of rings (H* (X; Q)[2])([n]) congruent to H* (X-[n]; Q)[2n] for the Hilbert scheme X-[n] of generalised n-tuples of any smooth projective surface X with numerically trivial canonical bundle.

摘要:We fill a gap in the proof of one of the central theorems in Epp's paper, concerning p-cyclic extensions of complete discrete valuation rings. In his famous paper [1], Epp considers the following situation: S and R are two discrete valuation rings such that (1) S dominates R, and (2) if the characteristic p of the residue field of S is not zero, then its largest perfect subfield is separable and algebraic over the residue field of R. 摘要:We study homotopy equivalences of p-completions of classifying spaces of finite groups. To each finite group G and each prime p, we associate a finite category L-p(c)(G) with the following properties. Two p-completed classifying spaces BG((p) over cap) and BG'(p) over cap have the same homotopy type if and only if the associated categories L-p(c)(G) and L-p(c)(G') are equivalent.
