  摘要：This is a small theory of non almost periodic ergodic families of Jacobi matrices with purely (however) absolutely continuous spectrum. The reason why this effect may happen is that under our axioms we found an analytic condition on the resolvent set that is responsible for (exactly equivalent to) this effect.

  摘要：Using the doubling method of Piatetski-Shapiro and Rallis, we develop a theory of local factors of representations of classical groups and apply it to give a necessary and sufficient condition for nonvanishing of global theta liftings in terms of analytic properties of the L-functions and local theta correspondence.

  摘要：In this paper, we prove a local null controllability result for the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations on a (smooth) bounded domain of R-3 with null Dirichlet boundary conditions. The control is distributed in an arbitrarily small nonempty open subset and has two vanishing components.   摘要：In this paper, we establish the second term identity of the Siegel-Weil formula in full generality, and derive the Rallis inner product formula for global theta lifts for any dual pair. As a corollary, we resolve the non-vanishing problem of global theta lifts initiated by Steve Rallis.

  摘要：Let p = (p(1), ... , p(r)) be a system of r polynomials with integer coefficients of degree d in n variables x = (x(1), ... , x(n)). For a given r-tuple of integers, say s, a general local to global type statement is shown via classical Hardy-Littlewood type methods which provides sufficient conditions for the solubility of p(x) = s under the condition that each of the x(i)'s is prime.

  摘要：We study the p-adic deformation properties of algebraic cycle classes modulo rational equivalence. We show that the crystalline Chern character of a vector bundle on the closed fibre lies in a certain part of the Hodge filtration if and only if, rationally, the class of the vector bundle lifts to a formal pro-class in K-theory on the p-adic scheme.
