摘要:We study an optimal mass threshold for normalizability of the Gibbs measures associated with the focusing mass-critical nonlinear Schrodinger equation on the one-dimensional torus. In an influential paper, Lebowitz et al. (J Stat Phys 50(3-4):657-687, 1988) proposed a critical mass threshold given by the mass of the ground state on the real line. 摘要:Let G be the group (GL(2) x GU(1))/GL(1) over a totally real field F, and let X be a Hida family for G. Revisiting a construction of Howard and Fouquet, we construct an explicit section P of a sheaf of Selmer groups over X. We show, answering a question of Howard, that P is a universal Heegner class, in the sense that it interpolates geometrically defined Heegner classes at all the relevant classical points of X. 摘要:Scalable spaces are simply connected compact manifolds or finite complexes whose real cohomology algebra embeds in their algebra of (flat) differential forms. This is a rational homotopy invariant property and all scalable spaces are formal; indeed, scalability can be thought of as a metric version of formality. 摘要:This paper studies the structure and stability of boundaries in noncollapsed RCD(K,N) spaces, that is, metric-measure spaces (X,d,H-N) with Ricci curvature bounded below. Our main structural result is that the boundary partial derivative X is homeomorphic to a manifold away from a set of codimension 2, and is N - 1 rectifiable. 摘要:We construct finite dimensional families of non-steady solutions to the Euler equations, existing for all time, and exhibiting all kinds of qualitative dynamics in the phase space, for example: strange attractors and chaos, invariant manifolds of arbitrary topology, and quasiperiodic invariant tori of any dimension. 摘要:We establish cancellation in short sums of certain special trace functions over F-q [u] belowthe Polya-Vinogradov range, with savings approaching square-root cancellation as q grows. This is used to resolve the F-q [u]-analog of Chowla's conjecture on cancellation in Mobius sums over polynomial sequences, and of the Bateman-Horn conjecture in degree 2, for some values of q. A final application is to sums of trace functions over primes in F-q [u].
