摘要:We prove potential automorphy results for a single Galois representation G(F) -> GL(n)((Q) over bar (l)) where F is a CM number field. The strategy is to use the p, q switch trick to go between the p-adic and q-adic realisation of a certain variant of the Dwork motive. We choose this variant to break self-duality shape of the motives, but not the Hodge-Tate weights. 摘要:We provide the rigorous derivation of the wave kinetic equation from the cubic nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation at the kinetic timescale, under a particular scaling law that describes the limiting process. This solves a main conjecture in the theory of wave turbulence, i.e. the kinetic theory of nonlinear wave systems. 摘要:This article is devoted to the study of the closed vacuum static spaces. Based on the argument of maximum principle, we show that three-dimensional closed vacuum static spaces with scalar curvature 6 must be isometric to either the standard unit sphere S-3 (1) or a finite quotient of the torus S-1 (root 1/3) x S-2 (root 1/3).

摘要:Building on work by Chabauty from 1941, Coleman proved in 1985 an explicit bound for the number of rational points of a curve C of genus g = 2 defined over a number field F, with Jacobian of rank at most g - 1. 摘要:We construct projective varieties in mixed characteristic whose singularities model, in generic cases, those of tamely potentially crystalline Galois deformation rings for unramified extensions of Q(p) with small regular Hodge-Tate weights. 摘要:We introduce the notion of a Seshadri stratification on an embedded projective variety. Such a structure enables us to construct a Newton-Okounkov simplicial complex and a flat degeneration of the projective variety into a union of toric varieties. We show that the Seshadri stratification provides a geometric setup for a standard monomial theory. In this framework, Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths for Schubert varieties get a geometric interpretation as successive vanishing orders of regular functions.
