摘要:How do people react to setbacks and successes? I use a laboratory experiment to determine the effect of winning and losing in a competition on the willingness to seek further challenges. 摘要:Providing broadband to schools can be an effective way to foster household Internet adoption in neighboring areas. 摘要:This study tests whether international financial reporting standards (IFRS) adoption increased accounting transparency based on model-driven hypotheses. 摘要:To mitigate inefficiencies arising from asymmetric information, some markets rely on government interventions, whereas others rely on reputation systems, warranties, or guarantees. This paper explores the impact of two mechanisms, namely, reputation badges and buyer protection programs, and their interaction on eBay's marketplace.
