摘要:A suitable normalization technique is introduced to improve the robustness properties of the conventional perturbation-based extremum seeking (ES). Following practical stability analysis, an appropriate expression is found for the normalization signal in the proposed normalized ES. Application of the proposed scheme in the source localization with nonholonomic unicycle has an additional advantage of ensuring that forward and angular velocities of the unicycle have a priori known bounds.

摘要:In this article, we present a fault diagnosis approach for discrete event systems using labeled Petri nets. 摘要:In this article, we study the supervisory control problem of networked discrete event systems with timing structure assuming bounded communication delays and intermittent loss of observations. 摘要:In this article, stabilization of port-Hamiltonian (pH) systems is studied in the context of shifted passivity. The pH systems, in general, are not shifted passive with respect to the given Hamiltonian and output. 摘要:We consider a model predictive control setting, where we use the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) to exploit problem structure. We take advantage of interacting components in the controlled system by decomposing its dynamics with virtual subsystems and virtual inputs. 摘要:Given a linear dynamical system affected by stochastic noise, we consider the problem of selecting an optimal set of sensors (at design time) to minimize the trace of the steady-state a priori or a posteriori error covariance of the Kalman filter, subject to certain selection budget constraints. 摘要:This article develops a cloud-based protocol for a constrained quadratic optimization problem involving multiple parties, each holding private data. The protocol is based on the projected gradient ascent on the Lagrange dual problem and exploits partially homomorphic encryption and secure communication techniques. 摘要:We design the first fully distributed algorithm for generalized Nash equilibrium seeking in aggregative games on a time-varying communication network, under partial-decision information, i.e., the agents have no direct access to the aggregate decision. The algorithm is derived by integrating dynamic tracking into a projected pseudo-gradient algorithm. The convergence analysis relies on the framework of monotone operator splitting and the Krasnosel'skii-Mann fixed-point iteration with errors.
