摘要:This note focuses on the convergence problem of a distributed recursive least squares (RLS) estimator, which converges fast in many circumstances. We find that the convergence behavior of this distributed RLS is quite different for the scalar-parameter and high-dimensional-parameter cases.

摘要:Persistent dwell-time (PDT) constraint is demonstrated to be powerful for modeling the dynamics of switched systems with nonuniform time-dependent scheduling constraints. 摘要:This article develops a safetyanalysis method for stochastic systems that is sensitive to the possibility and severity of rare harmful outcomes. 摘要:This article proposes a stealthy integrity attack generation methodology for a class of nonlinear cyber-physical systems. Geometric control theory and stability theory of incremental systems are used to design an attack generation scheme with stealthiness properties. 摘要:The two contributions of this article are as follows. The first is the solution of an infinite dimensional, boundary controlled linear quadratic regulator by the simple and constructive method of completing the square. The second contribution is the extension of Al'brekht's method to the optimal stabilization of a boundary controlled, nonlinear reaction diffusion system.

摘要:We study the problem of synthesizing a controller that maximizes the entropy of a partially observable Markov decision process (POMDP) subject to a constraint on the expected total reward. Such a controller minimizes the predictability of an agent's trajectories to an outside observer while guaranteeing the completion of a task expressed by a reward function.
