摘要:The problem of effective use of phasor measurement units (PMUs) to enhance power systems awareness and security is a topic of key interest. The central question to solve is how to use these new measurements to reconstruct the state of the system. In this article, we provide the first solution to the problem of (globally convergent) state estimation of multimachine power systems equipped with PMUs and described by the fourth-order flux-decay model. This article is a significant extension of our...

摘要:This article studies the multiagent control problem for affine, rigid, and translational formation, with the aim of developing a unified distributed control strategy for global and finite-time convergence. Global stabilization of rigid formation in arbitrary dimensional spaces still remains open and challenging. This article provides a general solution to this open problem based on the sliding mode control idea. The control law design consists of two parts: the main control force regulates the...

摘要:This article studies the robust cooperative output regulation problem of heterogeneous uncertain linear multiagent systems under unbounded distributed transmission delays. A novel distributed observer is first proposed to estimate the state of an exosystem in the presence of unbounded distributed transmission delays. Then, two novel distributed controllers, one based on state feedback and the other based on output feedback, are further developed without any prior knowledge of the unbounded tra...

摘要:In this article, we study the problem of model reduction by moment matching for stochastic systems. We characterize the mathematical object that generalizes the notion of moment to stochastic differential equations, and find a class of models that achieve moment matching. However, differently from the deterministic case, these reduced-order models cannot be considered simpler because of the high computational cost paid to determine the moment. To overcome this difficulty, we relax the moment m...

摘要:We study the deadline scheduling problem for multiple deferrable jobs that arrive in a random manner and are to be processed before individual deadlines. The processing of the jobs is subject to a time-varying limit on the total processing rate at each stage. We formulate the scheduling problem as a restless multiarmed bandit problem. Relaxing the scheduling problem into multiple independent single-arm scheduling problems, we define the Lagrangian priority value as the greatest tax under which...

摘要:Recent years have seen increased interest in performance guarantees of gradient descent algorithms for nonconvex optimization. A number of works have uncovered that gradient noise plays a critical role in the ability of gradient descent recursions to efficiently escape saddle-points and reach second-order stationary points. Most available works limit the gradient noise component to be bounded with probability one or sub-Gaussian and leverage concentration inequalities to arrive at high-probabi...

摘要:This article aims to solve the problem of decentralized event-based finite-time control for a class of high-order interconnected nonlinear systems with an asymmetric output constraint. In order to achieve finite-time stability and reduce the update frequency of the controller, a novel controller and its event-trigger mechanism is proposed by adding a power integral technique and utilizing sign function. To fulfill the requirement of asymmetric output constraints, an asymmetric barrier Lyapunov...

摘要:This article develops a distributed solution to the fully heterogeneous containment control problem (CCP), for which not only the followers' dynamics but also the leaders' dynamics are nonidentical. A novel formulation of the fully heterogeneous CCP is first presented in which each follower constructs its virtual exosystem. To build these virtual exosystems by followers, a novel distributed algorithm is developed to calculate the so-called normalized level of influences (NLIs) of all leaders o...

摘要:This article investigates observability of Boolean control networks (BCNs) and probabilistic Boolean networks (PBNs). First, weak observability of BCNs is discussed via the nonaugmented approach. The obtained result is then applied to determine (asymptotic) observability of PBNs. Finally, complexity of algorithms based on new criteria is analyzed. Compared with existing ones, time and space complexity do not get worse, even are improved under some mild conditions.

摘要:In this article, we investigate a novel anytime control algorithm for wireless networked control with random dropouts. The controller computes sequences of tentative future control commands using time-varying (Markovian) computational resources. The sensor-controller and controller-actuator channel states are spatial- and time-correlated, respectively, and are modeled as a multistate Markov process. To compensate the effect of packet dropouts, a dual-buffer mechanism is proposed. We develop a ...
