摘要:The Kitanidis filter is a natural extension of the Kalman filter to systems subject to arbitrary unknown inputs or disturbances. Though the optimality of the Kitanidis filter was founded for general time varying systems more than 30 years ago, its boundedness and stability analysis is still limited to time-invariant systems, up to the authors' knowledge. In the framework of general time varying systems, this article establishes upper and lower bounds of the error covariance of the Kitanidis fi...

摘要:We present novel on-the-fly abstraction-based controller synthesis algorithms for two fundamental specifications-invariance and optimal reachability. In contrast to existing methods, the algorithms we propose do not require precomputation or storage of any large abstraction parts. This translates to orders of magnitude of reduction in memory consumption compared to standard methods. Moreover, our algorithms fully apply to general nonlinear systems and provide controllers that do not posses any...

摘要:We present a numerical method for the minimization of constrained optimization problems where the objective is augmented with large quadratic penalties of inconsistent equality constraints. Such objectives arise from quadratic integral penalty methods for the direct transcription of optimal control problems. The augmented Lagrangian method (ALM) has a number of advantages over the quadratic penalty method (QPM). However, if the equality constraints are inconsistent, then ALM might not converge...

摘要:This article presents graph theoretic conditions for the controllability and accessibility of bilinear systems over the special orthogonal group, the special linear group and the general linear group, respectively, in the presence of drift terms. The controlled terms are assumed to take place between pairwise states. Such bilinear systems naturally induce two interaction graphs: one graph from the drift, and another from the controlled dynamics. As a result, the system controllability or acces...

摘要:In this article, we study the robustness of the event-triggered consensus algorithms against frequency-domain uncertainties. It is revealed that the sampling errors resulted by event triggering are essentially images of linear finite-gain $\mathcal {L}_{2}$-stable operators acting on the consensus errors of the sampled states and the event-triggered mechanism is equivalent to a negative feedback loop introduced additionally to the feedback system. In virtue of this, the robust consensus proble...

摘要:This article contributes to the field of optimal control of bilinear systems. It concerns a continuous time finite-dimensional bilinear state equation with a quadratic performance index to be minimized. The state equation is nonautonomous and comprises a deterministic a priori known excitation. The control trajectory is constrained to an admissible set without a specific structure. The performance index is a functional quadratic in the state variables and control signals. The Krotov's method i...

摘要:A logical function can be used to characterize a property of states of a Boolean network (BN), which is considered as an aggregation of states. The dynamics of a set of logical functions are called the dual dynamics of the set. To illustrate the dual dynamics of a given set, which characterizes our concerned properties of a BN, the invariant subspace containing the set of logical functions is proposed, and its properties are investigated. Then, the invariant subspace of Boolean control network...

摘要:This article studies interval coordination problems for multiagent systems with antagonistic interactions. For strongly connected signed networks, it is shown that when the intersection of intervals imposed by agents is nonempty: the multiagent system achieves bipartite consensus with structurally balanced network; all agents' states must converge to 0, if the signed network is structurally unbalanced. We establish the consensus conditions for bipartite consensus and zero-value consensus by em...

摘要:This technical article investigates the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) design for continuous-time positive linear systems. Based on positive systems theory and Lyapunov theory, the solvability and optimality of the positivity-preserving LQR problem are analyzed through the lens of optimization, and two projection theorems are derived for single-input and multi-input positive systems, respectively, which paves the way for developing a projected gradient descent algorithm. The proposed results...

摘要:In this article, we investigate the optimal output tracking problem for linear discrete-time systems with unknown dynamics using reinforcement learning (RL) and robust output regulation theory. This output tracking problem only allows to utilize the outputs of the reference system and the controlled system, rather than their states, and differs from most existing works that depend on the state of the system. The optimal tracking problem is formulated into a linear quadratic regulation problem ...
