摘要:A common problem affecting neural network (NN) approximations of model predictive control (MPC) policies is the lack of analytical tools to assess the stability of the closed-loop system under the action of the NN-based controller. We present a general procedure to quantify the performance of such a controller, or to design minimum complexity NNs with rectified linear units (ReLUs) that preserve the desirable properties of a given MPC scheme. By quantifying the approximation error between NN-b...

摘要:In this note, we study contractivity of monotone systems and exponential convergence of positive systems using non-Euclidean norms. We first introduce the notion of conic matrix measure as a framework to study stability of monotone and positive systems. We study properties of the conic matrix measures and investigate their connection with weak pairings and standard matrix measures. Using conic matrix measures and weak pairings, we characterize contractivity and incremental stability of monoton...

摘要:This article addresses the synchronization problem of linear multiagent systems with intermittent communication. To solve this problem, we propose an adaptive distributed control algorithm with edge-based event-triggering mechanisms that differs fundamentally from existing approaches in that it does not employ any form of global topology information and absolute state information. Instead, agents update their control signals and check triggering conditions based on relative state information. ...

摘要:In this article, a novel output-feedback adaptive containment control scheme is proposed for a class of heterogeneous multiagent systems, where the agents are nonlinear multi-input multi-output systems whose relative degrees are allowed to be different. Unlike existing results, we only require the leading principal minors of agents' control gain matrices (CGMs) to be nonzero and take into account unknown direction actuator faults, which relaxes the restrictions on CGMs and enhances system reli...

摘要:An online modeling algorithm is derived from a generic stochastic dual averaging (DA) method. It employs a negative entropy as a distance-generating function and the Volterra series expansion as a dictionary. Assuming that the measurement data are not i.i.d. but generated by a nonlinear dynamical system with an infinite, exponentially fading memory, the error bounds are established for both the generic DA method and for the proposed modeling algorithm. The experiments performed on a set of ben...

摘要:The distributed robust optimization problem is investigated in this article for a class of networked agent systems under stochastically switching communication graphs. Unlike most existing results on distributed optimization of networked agent systems, the dynamics of each agent in the present model are allowed to be subjected to matched linearly parameterized unknown nonlinearities while the underlying communication graph is stochastically switching among some matrix-weighted communication gr...

摘要:In this article, we address the prescribed finite time control problem for a class of strict-feedback systems with unknown parameters. A backstepping-based adaptive prescribed-time control algorithm is proposed for second-order strict-feedback systems, where the global stability of the system is ensured, and a dynamic surface control (DSC)-based adaptive prescribed-time algorithm is designed for the system in high-order case. For the DSC-based method, a novel first-order filter is constructed ...

摘要:This note analyzes the stochastic stability for time varying neutral stochastic hybrid delay system, which includes the stability in pth(p = 2)-moment, the asymptotical stability in pth(p= 2)-moment, the exponential stability in pth(p = 2) moment, and the almost surely exponential stability. One modified version of generalized delay integral inequality, the Lyapunov- Krasovskii function, and the stochastic analysis are used. The proposed methodology can surmount the analytical difficulty, whic...

摘要:This article investigates the use of extended Kalman filtering to train recurrent neural networks with rather general convex loss functions and regularization terms on the network parameters, including $\ell _{1}$-regularization. We show that the learning method is competitive with respect to stochastic gradient descent in a nonlinear system identification benchmark and in training a linear system with binary outputs. We also explore the use of the algorithm in data-driven nonlinear model pred...

摘要:In this article, we consider a class of submodular maximization problems in which decision-makers have limited access to the objective function. We explore scenarios where the decision-maker can observe only pairwise information, i.e., can evaluate the objective function on sets of size two. We begin with a negative result that no algorithm using only k-wise information can guarantee performance better than k/n. We present two algorithms that utilize only pairwise information about the functio...
