摘要:In this article, we revisit the problem of computing (robust) controlled invariant sets for discrete-time linear systems. Departing from previous approaches, we consider implicit, rather than explicit, representations for controlled invariant sets. Moreover, by considering such representations in the space of states and finite input sequences we obtain closed-form expressions for controlled invariant sets. 摘要:We study the objective function value performance of the scenario approach for robust convex optimization. A novel method is proposed to derive probabilistic bounds for the objective value from scenario programs with a finite number of samples. This method relies on a max-min reformulation and on the concept of complexity of robust optimization problems. 摘要:This article studies the local finite-time stability for a class of time-delay systems. Some Lyapunov-based sufficient conditions are proposed in the framework of finite time, where a potential connection between time delay and system parameters for local finite-time stability is established. 摘要:This article investigates the stabilization problem of stop-and-go waves in vehicle traffic flow with bilateral boundary feedback control. The stop-and-go waves induce the discontinuities of vehicle speed and density, which inturn lead to different traffic states on the front and back sides of the shock front.
