摘要:Model predictive control (MPC) is pervasive in research and industry. However, designing the cost function and the constraints of the MPC to maximize closed-loop performance remains an open problem. 摘要:This article proposes two distributed random reshuffling (RR) methods, namely gradient tracking with RR (GT-RR) and exact diffusion with RR (ED-RR), to solve the distributed optimization problem over a connected network, where a set of agents aim to minimize the average of their local cost functions. 摘要:The purpose of this note is to extend the approximate dynamic programming (ADP) method to the infinite time stochastic optimal control (ergodic) problem. It is also shown that a modification of the basic algorithm solves the output feedback problem. The ADP solution of the ergodic problem differs in significant ways from its deterministic counterpart.

摘要:In this article, we study the privacy-preserving distributed optimization problem, aiming to prevent attackers from stealing the private information of agents. For this purpose, we propose a novel privacy-preserving algorithm based on the Advanced Encryption Standard, which is both secure and computationally efficient. 摘要:This technical note is concerned with boundary stabilization of multidimensional discrete-velocity kinetic models. By exploiting a certain stability structure of the models and adapting an appropriate Lyapunov functional, we derive feasible control laws so that the corresponding solutions decay exponentially in time. The result is illustrated with an application to the 2-D coplanar model in a square container. The effectiveness of the derived control laws is confirmed by numerical simulations.
