摘要：We develop an automated teller machine (ATM) replenishment policy for a bank that operates multiple ATMs. The aim is to minimize the cost of replenishments and stockouts, taking into account the economies of scale involved in replenishing multiple ATMs simultaneously. When the replenishment is outsourced to an outside vendor, the replenishment cost is typically additive. 摘要：Unplanned transfers of patients from general medical-surgical wards to the intensive care unit (ICU) can occur as a result of unexpected patient deterioration. 摘要：We consider a firm that solicits bids from a fixed-sized pool of yet-to-be-qualified suppliers for an indivisible contract. The contract can only be awarded to a supplier who passes a multistage qualification process.
