摘要：To combat the nationwide opioid epidemic, many states have implemented policies that require prescribers to check a patient's prescription history with Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMPs) prior to initiating or refilling opioid prescriptions. Using a difference-in-differences approach, we show that after states mandated PDMP use, opioid prescriptions decreased by 6.1% as intended. 摘要：In this paper, we introduce and study the joint inventory selection and online resource allocation problem, which is characterized by two sequential sets of decisions that are irrevocably linked. First, a decision maker (DM) must select starting inventory levels for a set of available resources. 摘要：We consider a supply chain consisting of an incumbent national brand manufacturer and a retailer, who wishes to determine the private label encroachment strategy.
