摘要:
The ring-patterned control is studied for a class of multiagent systems (MASs) under directed ring interactions with time-varying weights, further accommodating increasing scales and achieving hyperexponential consensus with the dynamic weighted average steady state. For both MAS of scalar-agent and multivariable-agent, ring-patterned control is proposed by encoding the corresponding matrices into respective time-varying polynomials of the time-invariant ring-patterned base matrix. With these encodings to design control parameters, the ability to accommodate MAS with increasing scales is guaranteed by the property that the ring-patterned base matrix restricts and encapsulates all the effects on eigenvalues of the scale variation. Because of this, the proposed control no longer requires prior knowledge of all interaction information at all open moments of scale variation, as is the case in existing literature. In addition, the time-varying polynomials are designed without infinity control parameters to ensure hyperexponential consensus, a faster convergence than any exponential counterparts. Finally, the consensus steady state has been proven to be a dynamic weighted average.
