Papers submitted for the conference sessions can also be submitted for poster sessions. Submission fees are $75 USD (FMA-members) or $85 USD (non-members). Poster SubmissionsThe Financial Management Association International invites research from doctoral students and early career researchers to be showcased in poster sessions on Thursday, 15 October and Friday, 16 October during coffee and snack breaks. To submit your research for the special poster session, submit your paper or a draft of your poster on or before 1 April 2026. Poster submissions are invited on all topics in finance and may describe research projects, results of work in progress, or recently completed work. Priority spots for the poster session will be given to doctoral students and early career researchers (researchers who received their doctorates within the past five years). To help defray costs, conference registration fees will be waived for doctoral students accepted for the poster session.
The editors of Financial Management (FM), the flagship journal of FMA International, will be apprised by the conference program committee of papers that the committee assesses to be of particularly high-quality. In select cases, the editors will “lightly solicit” papers for submission to FM by offering fast-turnaround, high-quality reviews, waived initial submission fees, and enhanced marketing of papers that are eventually accepted through this submission route. Referees for “lightly-solicited” papers will be made aware that the paper was invited for submission by the editors. While these invitations do not promise eventual publication of papers in FM, the invitations are only offered to a small number of papers each year that the respective FMA conference program committees identify as likeliest to clear the bar for publication in FM without major revisions.
