JAKARTA, 12 FEBRUARY 2026 – The First Meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) of the European Union (EU)-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package-Investment Facility (SCOPE-IF) project took place today at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat.
The Chair of the ASEAN Committee on Sustainable Infrastructure (ACSI), Joseph J Capuno, Undersecretary of the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DepDev), the Philippines, and Jerome Pons, Head of the Cooperation Section, Delegation of the European Union to ASEAN, co-chaired the meeting. The meeting deliberated on SCOPE-IF’s implementation arrangements, approved the project work plan, and exchanged views on priorities and upcoming activities.
The SCOPE-IF project aims to facilitate sustainable infrastructure investments in ASEAN with a focus on transport, energy, and digital sectors, contributing to the implementation of ASEAN Connectivity Strategic Plan (ACSP).
The project’s implementation is overseen by the ACSI in consultation with relevant ASEAN Bodies.
