2026 CES North American Annual Conference

We're cordially inviting you to the2026 North American Annual Conference of the Chinese Economists Society, hosted by Emory University, on March 28-29, 2026
(Saturday and Sunday) at Goizueta Business School. The meeting is now open for
paper submissions. We would like to highlight that submissions are not restricted to China- related topics. We invite contributions across all areas of study.
The Chinese Economist Society (CES) is a US-registered non-profit organization which aims to promote scholarly exchanges among its members and contribute to the
advancement and dissemination of economics and management sciences in China.
We particularly encourage job market candidates, advanced PhD students, and early-career researchers across all fields of economics to apply. This is an in-person meeting only.

Paper Submissions
The submission process is open through January 5, 2026. Papers can be submitted
electronically in PDF format or via the URL through CES Website at https://www.china- ces.org/Conferences/ConferenceDefault.aspx?ID=3060
The main submitter must be a member of the Chinese Economists Society, and all
participants must register for the conference. You may join the Society athttps://www.china-ces.org/Membership/NewApplication.aspx.
Each person may submit and present only one paper; however, each person is allowed to be a co-author of several papers submitted to the conference.

GREGORY CHOW RISING STAR AWARD AND BEST PAPER AWARD
We will honor two exceptional papers with prestigious awards: the Gregory Chow Rising Star Award and the Best Paper Award.
TRAVEL SUPPORT
The Chinese Economists Society will offer a limited number of travel subsidies, up to
US$500 per person, to presenting authors at the conference, with priority given to students or junior faculty and to members of underrepresented groups.
