Wallenberg–NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship

Programme Overview
The Wallenberg–NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship offers exceptional early-career scientists, engineers, and scholars from Singapore and worldwide the opportunity to conduct independent research at:
Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and
A Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP) research partner institution in Sweden.
Each year, five Fellows will be selected based on demonstrated intellectual rigor, scientific maturity, and capacity to lead independent research.

Artificial Intelligence
Machine Learning
Big Data & Data Analytics
Software & Security
Mobility & Autonomy
This fellowship is supported by generous endowments from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
Benefits
1. One Year at NTU Singapore
Research grant: Up to SGD 100,000 (one-year)
Annual salary: Up to SGD 80,000
Relocation allowance + generous housing grant for entire NTU period

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be within 5 years of obtaining a PhD (or equivalent degree)
Demonstrate intellectual excellence
Show maturity and capacity to begin an independent research career
Display potential to become a future academic leader
Submit a thoughtful, realistic, and original research proposal
Be available to start no later than 31 December 2026
