General formulae are derived for the coefficients of an nth order parabolic regression line, and for the nth correlation ratio, Hn , connected with the nth parabola of regression as the correlation ratio n is connected with the actual regression line. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the actual regression line to be represented by an nth order parabola are also given.
