摘要:
If the correlations of aptitudes form a hierarchy and none of the net correlations are negative, a given aptitude may be analysed into a general factor g and a special factor uncorrelated with the general factor and with the special factors for other aptitudes. However, the values of g may be assigned to the individuals in many ways. They differ little for most individuals in the trivial case where g has already been found, approximately, among the aptitudes measured or where the number of aptitudes measured is large.
