A pedigree with chart and photographs is shown which contains cases of spasmodic entropion appearing at unusually early ages and cases with changes in skin of the lids: (1) fullness of the skin of the upper lid; (2) skin fold of the upper lid; (3) crinkling of the skin of both upper and lower lids. Both entropion and skin changes are transmitted from parent to child. A hereditary factor is suggested that in some unknown way causes the changed condition of the skin of the lids, of which the entropion is a result.
