摘要:
The infant death rates in the 10 health areas of the Health Center District of New York City are compared. No significant differences are found in the 1929-1931 rates of the 4 areas of the Old Demonstration District, but in many cases rates in these areas are significantly less than those in the other 6 areas. In the 4 areas of the Old Demonstration District there was a downward trend in infant death rates from 1921 to 1931 inclusive, the average annual decrease being 1.8 per 1000 births.
