摘要:
As supply chains become more and more globalized, even in times of disruptions and trade frictions, and that consumers are increasingly more demanding on the environmental and social responsibility performances of the supply chains that supply products they are buying, research in supply chain management should also contribute to make an impact under such trends. I call this supply chains with a conscience, where supply chains need to continuously strive to minimize the harms and negative impacts to the environment and people, while maximize the values and well-beings of society at large, especially for those in emerging and developing economies. I want to share some frameworks of perspectives on this subject, some illustrative developments, and an example of a personal journey.
